About Me

My name is Libby Brown and I love music. I started playing the piano when I was 7 years old and have been playing for almost 40 years.  I was born into a musical family. Both my parents families love music and it was engrained in me growing up. It is in my blood.

I have sat behind many pianos and organs in church callings starting when I was 12 years old.  I had the best teachers and mentors and had the opportunity to play the LDS Conference Center organ, which was an amazing experience.

I believe that music is therapeutic and is excellent for brain development.  Because I learned the piano first, I was able to learn other instruments easily.  I would love to help students develop the same love of music as I was taught. I am a mom to 2 teenagers and I have worked in education in Tooele County. I am patient and loving with children; including those with special needs.
